эмулятор ps2 linux

“Awesome. Now, all we need is games and we are set. Anyone know where I can get some? Or, do the games work when you just put them into the CD ROM drive?”

This is great! and it should shut up all the people moaning about “no backwards compatability” for the 40gb and 80gb. Not that i would ever consider playing a ps2 game on my ps3 anyway as they are prehistoric in comaparison. But i would play them on my laptop, im going to get the download now. Thanks for the info

All you do is put the disk into you cd/dvd drive, although when you first install it, it is set up to load iso cd images but it isn’t hard to change

It’s taken a long time, but there’s now a working PlayStation2 emulator for Windows available – it’s called PCSX2, and it’s made by the same people that created PCSX (the Sony PlayStation 1 emulator). Although you need a fairly powerful PC to run PCSX2 – most 2D games can reach 60-120 FPS, and with the latest version of PCSX2, 3D performance can reach speeds greater than the native PS2 frame-rate of 60 FPS (NTSC) or 50 FPS (PAL). It also works on Linux.
